Former Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner was arrested Sunday after a police chase in Azusa, California. Browner was wanted for a list of charges including, but not limited to, kidnapping, burglary, false imprisonment and violation of a restraining order.
Browner was quickly identified as the intruder and allegedly forced the victim back into her home when she attempted to flee. It is also alleged that he threatened to kill the victim inside her home. Before fleeing the scene, Browner stole a Rolex Watch, valued at $20,000. The victim had a relationship with Browner and had a restraining order placed on him due to domestic violence.
This isn’t the first time Browner has had a run-in with the police recently. He was also wanted for domestic battery, child endangerment and possession of cocaine.
During his NFL career, Browner won two Super Bowls back-to-back with the Seahawks and Patriots. Browner is also known as one of the founding members of the Legion of Boom and went to his only Pro-Bowl in 2011.
